The elevator trim adjustment using a logitech yoke are too coarse, when using the trim it is almost like a runaway trim failure . Normal flying operations requires the pilot to adjust the require pitch attitude with the yoke followed by unloading the elevator force required to hold the attitude using the trim. Unfortunately when the trim is moved even slightly the pitch change is too drastic making it almost impossible to accurately trim the aircraft in the longitudinal plane.
I don’t have that yoke, but I would be interested to know what you see when you do the following.
Mouse over the trim wheel in the cockpit, and ensure it shows 0 degrees.
Now either trim up or down a single notch, and see what it reads then. That will tell us what percentage change you are seeing with a single adjustment.
I’m experiencing the opposite issue with the Honeycomb Bravo trim wheel, it’s too fine. I have to spin the wheel probably 50+ times to get from full nose down to up trim. This just became an issue in World Update 4 (released today 4/13), has been perfectly fine before. Unfortunately, this really detracts from my experience too, I wish they added a trim sensitivity feature.
I noticed that it seems to be too fine with the Bravo quadrant as well, since the update.
Trim limits are adjusted specific for airplane in flight model by the content creator. You can manually adjust them however by editing the flight_model.cfg. Please refer to SDK for related parameters and their effects. Bu don’t mess with it if you are not confortable about what you are doing.
