Enable mouse wheel for two-position switches

For all controls with more than two positions - i.e. three position switches or rotary knobs - the mouse wheel can be used to change them. It works very well in terms of tactile feedback, since the action is similar to flicking a switch.

For the sake of consistency, the same should be true with two-position switches, but the mouse wheel does nothing.

For example the A320’s exterior lights panel has a mix of two and three position switches. The three position switches can be controlled with the wheel, but to change a two position switch you have to click it.

This probably doesn’t sound like a big deal but I find it really breaks immersion.

This is actually a really good idea that would make a lot of sense in terms of input/control consistency and usability especially if the option to mouse click is also retained (because that is also quite intuitive.)

Moved to #self-service:wishlist as this is more a feature request, rather than a bug.

How can we get more traction on this feature request? I second that this is a great idea.
