End of Berlin Tegel (EDDT) as an airport

I just submitted this to zendesk:

After 61 years of service, today is the last day for our beautiful and beloved EDDT airport (Berlin-Tegel/Germany). After six months of standby it will be converted into the so-called ‘urban tech republic’. BTW its little brother EDDI (also an iconic and well known one) changed into a recreation area several years ago.
I use both of them frequently in MSFS due to nostalgic reasons
But since the software wants to be a sim rather than a game perhaps this should be reflected in the database. The only active airport in the city area is EDDB (sad enough).

They should also aktivate RW 07R / 25L on EDDB, which are already in use.

Tempelhof has been closed for well over a decade now, but it’s still in FS too.

Have a look around the world - there are countless other examples.

That’s true. EDDI is still alive inside the sim, but the runways are closed
The funny thing with EDDT is:
About 100 airports have been fixed along with the recent update, that’s what they say. And indeed, PAPI lights showed up finally at EDDT, and even a ‘sink’ in the ground is gone.
That leads me to some thoughts and conclusions about the time gap between zendesk tickets and following remedies. If I were them I would try to make any fix as complete as possible to make my life easier…

Fixed in City Update 4.
