Started to download at 00:00 of 18 and till today still more then 20Gib to go even do using a fibre optic connection , never had such an issue, sometimes is even going backward the download, from 22Gib downloaded then it stops crash and restart from 20Gib , starting to get really disappointed for this unexpected endless Download , is there any explanation?

Exit the install restart computer if you have to.
In windows search type flight
then right click flight simulator icon
click run as administrator.
Make sure you have the latest version of windows installed V2004.
I had issues with an install earlier, and MS suggested ensuring all my windows updates were current along with the gaming services. After performing all the updates the sim finally installed correctly. Just a thought.
Thank you for your reply and advices , i installed 2004 version of windows and run as admin the app still the same no improvements, quite frustrating…

Good morning, ok i found in zendesk a topic regarding slow download and i applied that modification and is expediting a bit the download from 4,4 Mbps to 31Mbps, is basically a prompt command to digit as “admin” And reboot the pc and restart the download

how do you do that?
- In the Windows search bar, type Command and look for Command Prompt
- In the menu select “ Run as administrator ”
- Enter: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
- Press enter
- RESTART your computer
