Engine fails on bush trip

on the Patagonia bush trip the engine of the x-club suddenly fails. The oil PSI flashes red. Is there any key combination to fix that and keep flying?

This exact issue happened to me when I first flew the Patagonia trip.

The only remedy I know of it is to bind the “Repair and Refuel” command to a key (I used F12).

I then pressed F12 before setting off at every stop.

Are you switching fuel tanks at regular intervals?

By your left thigh.

Yeah this is something to watch out for! Gotta manually switch those tanks.

I got a 7.5 hour flight yesterday out of an X-Cub! And I probably could have squeezed one more hour out of her too before running out of gas.

thanks to all of you … I think I got it now.
you should know the basic functions of every aircraft before you fly it any longer

I don’t know if you already found it, but if you look above and behind your head on either side in the X-Cub you’ll see the fuel sighting tubes. That’s how you keep track of how much gas you have (unless you want to cheat and see the percentage in external view :-D). I generally switch the tanks back and forth as they decrease to keep the aircraft balanced.
