Has anyone else noticed that when parked on a windy day, the A320/748 EICAS shows the N1 to be about 0.2%?
Yet the engine fans are not slowly spinning as you would expect?
The same goes for when the engine is windmilling in-flight. The N1 is about 3-6% yet the fan is completely still.
This may be a bug or feature. I don’t know.
