Palm Springs was a mess long before BBD. I am beginning to wonder if it will ever be fixed.
Thank you! So it’s more a Asobo/ photogamtry issue that’s been there for a while then something this was potentially causing… hopefully there will be a fix someday!!
Yeah, that’s purely a photogrammetry issue and it’s mostly on Bings side.
The algorithms used to stitch together the areal images and interpreted these to create 3D buildings basically misinterpreted palm trees as poles.
Asobo could mark each and every palm tree with a polygon by hand to make it flat and add a tree afterwards, however if you’d apply this task to whole globe you can imagine it would take years to finish that job 
As algorithms get better newer PG versions will likely get rid of these bollards.
I think the trees of EGV are more accurate and also look better than Bijan SE, however the coverage isn’t as good imo.

I noticed that the cities along the coast in the french riviera have nearly no trees (Cannes ,Antibes ) . It’s a shame, because the rest of the region is magnificent.
There doesn’t seem to be much response from the dev.
I took Bijan off and loaded EGV as I expected it to be better than Bijan but I didn’t find it quite as good to my taste so I swapped back to Bijan currently.
YMMV.
It’s nowhere near as thorough a package as Bijan’s, and Bijan obviously give insanely spectacular customer support.
But… Bijan’s package has underground trees showing through the ground at my home airport, WA17, and the Burning Blue package doesn’t. (Bijan says it’s an Asobo bug, but whoever’s responsible, it looks terrible.)
Burning Blue looks good in the Snoqualmie Valley, at least.
So, switching over to BB for my Washington state flying, and I’ll gauge other regions as I fly. Easy to switch between them, though it requires restarting the sim.\
I am really happy with this product, but dev communication means everything to me. There has been nothing but crickets the last few weeks. Will there ever be another update? I will give it a few more weeks, but If there isn’t some kind of communication or an update, I am going to reinstall Season’s Enhanced. At least Bijan is active on this forum and is constantly updating the product.
BBD is a more comprehensive overhaul than Bijan. Work is being done on all the biomes. A few days ago, they posted a message stating that they had noted all the feedback and were working on it, but that the process takes time. I own both add-ons, and personally, I like what BBD offers.
Where did they post this? It would be nice to stay up to date somehow, since they don’t even seem to send out emails when the product is updated to a new version.

A quick investigation and from what I can see, I suspect he is referring to this comment left on 20th September by Burning Blue on their discord:
“Thanks for the feedback on Enhanced Global Vegetation , we have a list of any problems and we are slowly addressing anything that has come up. we have over 800 global regions, plus cities in those regions and there is still some fine tuning to be done in a few places.”
Yes,this is that post on Discord. So we have just to wait because the process is complex .
