Hang on… ddr ram runs at half the speed its rated for, that’s because it gets polled twice in every oscillation instead of once as in old sdr. Anyhow all modern systems use dynamic multipliers unless they have been deliberately fixed, my ram @ 1666MHz (x2=3333) and AMD cpu @ 5.1GHz is no different to your Intel in that respect.
