Hello, After 3 hours of flight here is this error, I have only 20 minutes of flight left. I noticed that I must not fly between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time (11:00 p.m. and midnight UTC) otherwise I do not get passive income and do not fly around midnight local time (5:00 a.m. UTC) otherwise I am wasting my time for nothing, 2 time constraints at 6 hour intervals is not pleasant and I am becoming frustrated to lose so many hours in the evening on Flight simulator 2024 for nothing.

Why is this issue is not logged as a bug yet? Supper annoying to have this error when the time you have to fly the sim is around midnight.

• Yes. If I am flying a career mode mission between 12:01a and 12:20a local time (MDT, Arizona), I receive the same error and the mission is cancelled and I’m returned to the HQ screen.

• Yes. This error has occured at the following dates and times for me. All times in EST: 12/29- 12:02 AM; 12/28- 12:09 AM; 12:24- 12:06 AM

I get the same issue.
Error occurs between 12-1 am and pm PST. I’ve also notice before that time, the game has a ton of issues: mission steps bugging out, atc bugging out. Slow loading times on the world map when selecting a mission. But after 1am, the game is pretty smooth.
It’s either a memory leak on their end that they run a scheduled job to fix, cache building up to the point they need to clear it out. Or maybe it’s the passive income process. For me that happens around 3-4pm.
This needs to be voted up more. It’s pretty consistent and I’m pretty sure the problem is on Asobos end.

Happen to me at 00:12 local time only hlafway through a flightseeing mission so not too bad but still very annoying

This is by far the most severe issue for those of us who fly at night. It causes a huge amount of complaints online, although many people haven’t recognized the pattern (yet).

Happened to me again after a 3+ hour flight in the Cessna 408 at 12:01 AM just as I was turning onto the final approach. Same unexpected error. All that flight time lost for nothing.
I was about 2 minutes from touchdown.

Every local midnight it seems, wherever you are, UTC doesn’t matter, that only matters for the passive income / insurance bill. This seem to be a different problem from that, and related to your local time changing day.
I want this fixed so much and I cant believe that this is not actively investigated. I have like about 1 hour till my local midnight, just finished a flight and would love to do a few hour long flight in the night, but I can’t because of this error. For me it makes it worse that an hour after is also UTC midnight here so I also can’t fly missions then because of the passive income. So thats it for today.

For this issue… Has anyone tried to start a flight at like 11 pm and then pause the game before midnight and shut down your console or PC and do quick resume the next day or even after midnight passes and complete flight? I was curious if it’s only if you’re actively playing at the midnight time.
Seems easier just to plan to be landed before midnight or don’t take off till after. I actually didn’t know you could save career mid flight.
Definitely easier for now. It does suck however because a lot of us worker bees that work during the day use the night hours to fly and as long as these flights can be and the fact you can’t really use sim rate increase with a lot of the career planes because of unstable flying (Boeing 737 Bobbing Up and Down) just sucks and only gives time for like one flight and you have to time it right.
I don’t think you can save necessarily but on Xbox you can enable quick resume where you can basically pause any game and then just don’t quit the game and turn off your Xbox and when you turn it back on you can just jump back in and resume. I’m not sure if PC can do something like that or not.
