Lateley, I have had absolute random crashes, as in sitting and starting up the Airbus and with no warning straight back to desktop. The latest one, I did not touch the keyboard or anything, just straght dump.
It is extremely frustrating to not get an error log of some kind so I can troubleshoot the out of the blue crashes. Ever since SU5 this has happened, have been enjoying a kind of problemfree experience except for the usual suspects but not crashes.
Why can’t the user learn from the crashes? Event log only shows that MSFS crashed and points to nothing in particular. In X-plane at least you have the logg, “this caused an error”, and you know that the plug in or plane crashes the sim.
My experience is that the sim is unstable, it was not like this before. Whatever is causing crashes while ono the ground or midflight is something the user has of interest.
Are you using an Nvidia Graphics card? If So are you using the latest version (497.09)? If so, it has a known problem. Uninstall it, reboot and install the previous version from the Nvidia Website. the version you want is 496.76 GeForce Game Ready Driver | 496.76 | Windows 11 | NVIDIA
With regards to the error log in particular, we’ve been asking for that for a long time (a poll is out there somewhere). Hopefully we’ll see one eventually.
