Ironically I’m one of those that’s thoroughly enjoying 2024 and have done since the initial sever issues were sorted.

Same here since day 1 of sim and I have a 1gb symmetric fiber internet connection, The constant display of the message inflight becomes a distraction.

Got rid of message, but unfortunately I fly bush flights and can’t tell how much it impacted the live traffic around me since I rarely see any anyway.

When I’ve been in a quiet area I open up the EFB and scroll around to find a reasonable sized airport. There’s always been plenty of traffic showing.
Additionally I’m even seeing a better variety of live traffic aircraft.
Surprised more people aren’t trying this. Turning the time back by one minute on the Wx panel is so quick and easy and definitely beats have that irritating message continually.
I am having this error also about everytime I play free flight.

Spoke too soon…getting error again despite being 1 minute from live.
That’s bad news. Did you make sure the time actually changed by at least 1 minute? I’ve noticed sometimes hitting the minus that the Live tick disappears but the time doesn’t change. Maybe 2 minutes would be worth a try if you get it again. I haven’t had the message for about a week now once I’ve changed the time.
I’m suspecting that the query they’re using to look up the live traffic is looking for a time stamp where the data hasn’t committed yet so there’s nothing to retrieve hence the message. It’ll probably be the same query they’re using for the historical 24 hour traffic which I suspect is why thie time change is helping as that data will be committed to the database. Could be miles off track here. Just leaning on my past db programming experience.

I had an interesting time yesterday when I placed my C-172 above the control tower at SFO and watched the landing traffic for a while… I thought it was fascinating (but I am easily pleased).
What I saw was the identifications were 99% correct… I know all the airlines and they were all there… but the popup kept coming up. Now in normal programming the hack for this is you just put a 60s delay into showing the popup or just ditch it all together. They do not have the time to do this? Delete or comment out one line of code? Why irritate people like me or the other users who will just trash the software?

Ok, made sure I was one minute behind and worked. I think what I did wrong is that I did a second flight and it still showed me 1 minute behind live, but probably was live and just didn’t show it behind. Will check that on my next flight.

Flew a couple more times, zero error messages as long as I move the clock back each flight 1 minute. Again, I would be very interested in seeing what impact (if any) this has on live weather and/or traffic other than delaying it one minute, which is what I assume would happen.
Yes. You’re seeing the actual traffic relevant to the time that you’ve set anytime in the last 24 hours.

You guys will try to reproduce what happened? How hard is that? Just fly the sim and you will see the same message.

Its status has changed from feedback-logged to bug-logged, so I’m guessing they have reproduced it themselves.
Apart from the error message, AI at airports is total chaos… planes overlapping with each other, taking off from opposite directions, appearing and disappearing… it’s just ridiculous how they could release a game in such status.
Not the focus of this bug report.
Almost scared to ask, but has anyone seen this message recently? I’ve had a couple of hours simming time today, and haven’t seen it at all…
