Can you tell me if, when I do a flight plan, it is useful and or necessary to involve the METAR ? What is the importance of the weather in that establishment ?
If you fly with ATC (MSFS or online) it is important.
Well, METAR is usefull to choose the right runway for departure and TAF (Terminal Aera Forecast) to get an impression how the weather can be at your destination at time of arrival.
Both are important for flightplaning.
If you just fly for fun - ignore it. But please keep away from other players
