Even if the brightness of ND and MFD is maximized, it is dark.
Is this a phenomenon that only happens only to me?

That’s just this “camera” simulation that the sim does (same as for lens flares).
The human eye can much better adapt to the brightness changes, but for some reason Asobo chose to go for the camera look which can’t cope with high dynamic range in the visible area.

The only workaround is to pan the camera down if you want to read instruments properly (or fly in the morning/evening)


Using eye/head tracker like TrackIR help with this issue since moving the camera position is much quicker using these tools.

Maybe if you post a screenshot, we could at least tell you if what you’re seeing is how it is or if there is some other issue.
Everyone’s perception/expectation is different and describing it with words isn’t really useful.

Reading the title and the OP, I’d say he was talking about the panel lights. I believe there was a change to their brightness in the last update, though I wouldn’t have thought it’d apply to the FBW.
