3 times FS2020 has frozen and not re started since the launch and here I thought it was me. :sweat_smile:. Happens usually mid flight

is a bit low res at times here in the uk tonight , but does work! i`m happy with that

I have just had the same issues as OP tonight. working completely fine and then all of a sudden the earth vanished beneath my aircraft along with the “low bandwidth, switching to offline mode” and it refuses to let me back online.

No issues so far. If anything it seems to load faster now that I have a fresh install :). First thing that struck me. Everything just works. I know the start of 2020 was shaky too but at this point the sim works perfectly for me.

Well. 2024 will surely catch up but I think 6 months?

FS2020 problems for me as well.

Running in VR - Message saying my bandwidth was inadequate, so it switched me to offline. All scenery disappeared except the jetways. I checked my connection outside the sim and there was no problem. I haven’t seen this message for years.

Second flight after restart, still in VR, permanently froze mid-flight.

I too suspect this has something to do with solving the server issues in FS2024, with those of us staying in FS2020 losing out on server availability. Too much of a coincidence.

I’ll say that the progress bar to load in took quite a bit longer than usual - if they are taking 2020 resources to run 2024 that will be a 2nd disaster.

Same here. I intentionally held off installing 2024 to prevent these types of problems. And now as a result of no fault of my own i have them. Cloud computing stinks. I hope they sort this out 

because it’s bullcrap!

i noticed it today , close view started looking blurry , and the atc was kinda slow, i hope they dont forget about 2020 and give more attention to 2024 , 
in my opinion

And again off and flying and my FS2020 freezes again. I have enjoyed FS2020 since all the issues had resolved themselves over the last year and now we get dealt with this. This is the fourth time since the launch

And sure enough I tried to login to MS Teams this morning for a work meeting and
it wasn’t working. :rofl:

I see they’ve launched Windows 365 - Windows as an always-on cloud-based service. What could possibly go wrong?

As long as they don’t have more than 200,000 Windows 365 users they will be fine. :slight_smile:

Msfs2020 is an absolute shambles. What is going on. No terrain no connection. Cant fly one decent flight from start to finish and all i hear from asobo is they are looking into it. 2 weeks its taken them so far. Not happy, not happy at all.

Interesting. I just landed in Boston where I have a ton of add on scenery after an absolutely beautiful live weather flight in the PMDG 737-700. Switching views was slightly delayed but no stuttering affecting flight in Series X. The new 64GB Rolling Cache is working for me in 2020.
