I don’t understand. Every new update released the sim goes backwards and gets progressively worse. Wth is going on? We are over 3 years in. For the sim to be in this state and continue to lose stability, the same issues that have been happening and not being prioritized and fixed, it’s unacceptable.
Black screens, CTDs, frame rate drops and skips, black lines on the ground, frozen loading screens, frozen installs. Fix it.
It reminds me of when I worked in an airline, where with each update of the maintenance management software there were bugs due to the fact that the publishing company worked in departments each managing a module of the software and which did not speak to each other, everyone made changes without notifying their friends of the changes so the other modules crashed…I hope this is not the case here
Just curious.
Question, did it work well in the past?
What hard/software do you use? And does it meet minimum system requirements?
I mean, I’m flying MSFS2020 from day one on a laptop I bought a year before the MSFS first release.
It was a pretty decent (basic) gaming laptop but over time, MSFS ran into hick-ups, comparable to what you described above.
The majority of SU updates were ok but… some of them pulled the rig on its knees.
For that sole reason I’ve lossed my interest in it and haven’t fly for several months.
I realized that the sim basicaly got better but I was pushing limits in terms of expectations.
Around 6 month ago I decided it was time for a desktop with up to date hardware.
Asus Z790 plus WiFi, i5 13600k, Geforce RTX 4070Ti, 32 Gb RAM, 1000 watt platinum powerplant and a 32" 4K monitor.
After install, it felt like a touch down in heaven.
I know this is not an answer to your demands towards MS/Asobo but I have the feeling that your hard/software contributes to your bad experience with the SIM.
Happy
