There is a big difference between Cumulus and Cumulonimbus clouds. So, if you’re seeing lightning coming out of as I stated, scattered cumulus clouds then this defies all known observations through science and reality, especially when there isn’t even a thunderstorm or building storms with young Cumulonimbus present or in the surrounding area. Yes there can be cumulus clouds around outflow and boundaries but just because you see lightning passing through and out of them is not in no way indicative that the cumulus is generating it. You do have a basic understanding of what is required to generate lightning, correct?
You, yourself have already describe clear air lightning when you stated the following:
Though if one is to say that lighting came from the clear blue sky it is a incomplete thought and leads to a deceptive perception.
Similarly to what we have defined as “Heat Lighting” being it’s own thing though but understandably one may be unaware that they are seeing it because of a thunderstorm that is up to even 100 miles away and where atmospheric conditions allow it to be seen.
