Asobo (and various supporting studios) have put a lot of time and effort into the handcrafted POIs which we only used to see from the air or drone, but now we can explore them on foot. Or rather, I wish we were able to.
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is the very first photography mode POI we are offered to explore. Naturally, in 2024 one would want to land on the water and gently putter themselves to the shore to get out and have a look. However, once you get to its gates, you are met by invisible barriers preventing your entry - as if the guardian souls of the temple themselves have passed judgment on your spiritual purity, and you were deemed unworthy of the endless nirvana.
I don’t know how many more temples I can get supernaturally refused entry to until I start thinking maybe there’s something wrong with ME.
Allez, Asobo. Please let us explore those sweet POIs on foot. You have nothing to hide, they look too good not to be seen up close.
