Exploring the world in the Beechcraft Bonanza

First leg (second leg below, same post) from Brantford CYFD to Kingston CYGK. While I was planning to start this tour for a while, I jumped in in the evening to fly to Kingston and ‘start’ from there. I had already explored my local area extensively.

It started by flying direct to Hamilton, lovely during the day, very nice in the evening as well

There is an amazing old lift bridge at the entrance to the bay, I’ve cycled over it plenty times

Onwards past Missisauga

And Toronto

Fun to land at the city airport.

Then it got too dark for pictures, landed in Kingston at nightfall.

Departing from Kingston

Following the St Lawrence river North to Ottawa

Ogdensburg along the St Lawrence river

Ottawa, the capital of Canada

The city turned out pretty well in FS 2020

The weather was pretty moody, fun to fly low over the river

Hawkesburg through a gap in the clouds

I flew higher here to witness the majestic clouds

Down below, a rainy day in Montreal

On to Quebec, the weather started to clear up a little bit

Providing a beautiful rainbow

Quebec city

Dramatic New Brunswick

Approaching Saint Johns looked to be trouble for landing

And yep, completely covered in fog. This is where I spotted the runway having to make a quick S turn to get lined up.

Certainly not sight seeing here today
