External PreStart checks in Just Flight Warrior

I have been setting up checklists for a Just Flight Piper Warrior II in the PMS50 Garmin GTN 750.

I was pleased to note that, in the main, JF had stripped out uncheckable items for sim purposes, as compared to the checklists I used to use IRL flying.

But there are exceptions. The external pre-flight checklist contains items for checking oil level and fuel level. Fair enough. IRL, these were two of the “absolutely don’t miss” items, to avoid landing unceremoniously earlier than planned… ; :wink: So I was quite pleased.

But how can you do it in sim? I can’t find any hotspots to click on to open the fuel tank or engine cover. Am I missing something, or are these undoable items like draining water from the fuel or checking the stall warning trigger?

The tablet contains your oil level. There are no external clickspots in the Just Flight Piper airplanes like the A2A Comanche has. Anything not in the tablet can’t be done.

Thanks. I hadn’t spotted the oil level in the tablet.

I’ll modify my checklist accordingly and just check fuel via teh cockpit gauges.
