I’m trying to fix the external camera height so it’s not above the plane. According to the SDK you should be able to adjust the plane’s cameras.cfg “DEFAULT_CHASE” > initialxyz > y value to 0. It is currently a positive value that puts it above the aircraft. However, changing this number doesn’t do anything. It’s like there is a default set somewhere else that overrides anything you put in the initialxyz field.
There are also planes that do not have the “DEFAULT_CHASE” view at all, so there is definitely something setting it elsewhere.
I am going to lose my mind if I have to look at the top of any more planes.
