Extremely low framerate when leaving Queenstown New Zealand

Steam, world Update 7, everything updated in the content manager, all free world updates installed.

Dev mode or not, issue remains.

Brief description of the issue:
NZQN to EDDF - Shortly after Takeoff the frames drop to 10 (usually I get 45-60). When several miles out on the sea they go back up to the normal value. That said, I have roughtly 900h of flight on the clock and have not experienced this elsewhere.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Get into a 787, fly from NZQN to EDDF and watch the framerate.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
Ryzen 5 2600
32GB 3200 mhz Ram
Nvidia 2060S

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:
IDK what built number, but I experienced this before the World Update for Australia already. Wanted to wait and see if it fixed this.

Can anyone confirm this? Please note: ONLY happens when spawning with an active Direct TO from NZQN to EDDF.

EDIT: I have cleaned the game cash.

Does this occur with any other aircraft?
Are you using the XH improvement mod for the 787?
Have you tried it with the community folder empty, and on a fresh PC reboot , and fresh sim startup.

I fly in and out of NZQN fairly regularly.
I even have T0kenkiwi’s NZQN mod installed.
No issues.

With flight plans that long?

Just tried it in the A320. Same thing. Shortly after takeoff frames stuck at 15.

The length of the flight plan shouldn’t matter.
Time in the sim, dense scenery areas, and 3rd party conflicts are normal causes.
That’s why I was wondering about a fresh start of PC - sim, and any 3rd party content.

Doing that now. Apart from the tiny UI mod and the FBW A320 I have no mods installed.

I only experience it in this area. Even in LAX with live weather and tons of other players I dont get that low in frames. Also it suddenly pops in and pops out. Poof, back to 45 frames.

What are you referring to as the UI mod?
What runway did you depart on?
Did you make the plan in the world map?
I’ll see if I can replicate it.

RWY did not matter.

Yes I did make it on the world map. Simple VFR Direct To.

Real time, live weather?
It’s probably worth the effort to try without that mod though.

Just restarted my machine. Removed all mods. Hopped in the King Air. Same thing. I take off and the frames are stuck at 15.

Daytime, Clear Skies.

I want to add that since I first noticed this bug, I have reset all settings of the sim to default. It had no influence on it whatsover. It also does not matter what graphics settings I use. Same problem.

I am fine on the ground! I was wrong about the FPS increasing though. It does so slowly the further away I get. As mentioned, only region that gives me that problem. I already deleted the manual and rolling cache multiple times, even manually from the folders.

Here I am fine again too! Pretty abruptly. When I get back to the aiport the frames get stuck at 15 again. Now that I tried to get back to the main menu I got a CTD too.

So, fiddling around a bit: It does not depend on the aircraft, weather or anything, but the flight plan. When I spawn in without a flight plan, I am fine. I can then manually enter a FPL and still this bug does not occur.

Very weird!

Ok, well I’m slightly in front of you just crossing over the last mountains, no issues.
I’m using the FBW A320 exp version in the same conditions.
Here are a few things to try.
Shut down the sim, and delete the “Asobo-airport-nzqn-queenstown” file from the Official One Store folder.
Then in the Local Cache folder in the main sim folder, Delete the Content.xml file.
Restart the sim, it will make replacements for the deleted folder/file.
See if that helps.

I am now well out over the ocean, no issues!
Let us know how you make out!

Thanks! I will likely try that tomorrow and will report back.

Where is that Local Cache folder exactly? I can not find it, nor the content.xml file.

%appData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content.xml

Tried it. Not fixed. As soon as I touch the ground again, the frames go up to 55. I take off 15.

Ill rest for today and see what I can do tomorrow. Guess I will just be avoiding the area as I have for the past month.

Ok, have you tried deleting the Rolling Cache?

I have done that multiple times.

I just tried again, this time picking Christchurch as destinatin: No stuttering!
So far it only happens when I take EDDF.
