Thats not an f16
That’s a Eagle, not a F16
It is, however, hilarious.
Correct I meant to post it in the F15 topic.
This is something I’ve noticed in hangar view, things starting to show up on airplanes such as tanks and other equipment that should not. I think Asobo have been tinkering / breaking things again and this is the unfortunate result
We can only hope they fix them in the future
A quick question regarding both the F15 and the F16 autopilots.
I find that when using my controller to select the autopilot and functions on or off (with the A button) it also increases the throttle each time I click it (and the opposite for the B button).
Is this a key binding issue do you know or something else?
Edit: I’m on Xbox X with Xbox controller.
Sounds like binding, yes.
I thought default for autopilot functions on Xbox controller is right shoulder + A, B, X, Y etc. ‘A’ alone is throttle+.
Check in the controller settings to see what is doing what. You can search by input and hit A and it will show any controls that user it (also in combination with other buttons/triggers). You can be quite creative with shift modes to get it comfortable for how you want it.
I have a few different profiles for different types of planes and some specific to individual planes if they have functions not used on other aircraft (such as F-35’s VTOL and Hover subsystems).
Thanks for the reply. I too have separate profiles for different aircraft, my F15 profile has no Autopilot functions on the controller. I activate Autopilot from the cockpit using the left thumbstick button and then highlighting the switches and pressing the A button to switch on or off.
I’ll do as you suggest though and see what comes up on the A button press.
That’s a good idea. Gonna swap over to that methinks.
Didn’t work for me. I kept accidentally switching AP on and off hahah. Changed it to both shoulder buttons + left stuck push.
Nice to see you chose my livery for this pretty flight.
Feelsgoodman!
There’s a few problems with the screens in the F16 since SU9. Any info when a fix will be available?
We have no idea, as we don’t even know what Asobo have changed yet and whether it’s a bug or intentional ( as usual ). Their lack of communication and clarity is the problem here. Most devs are in the dark each time a Sim Update rolls out.
I know this will probably be your least problem after SU9, but as an passionate F16 guy I have to ask this. Is there a possibility to improve Vortex effects and Smoke with the SU9 update? it would help to get the immersion to the next level. Thx for your great work so far
By vortex do you mean G-vapour? We will probably install the Asobo effect as it’s quite cool. Smoke there are no plans to change at the moment but generally things get updated and improved over time so maybe in the future.
thanks, G-Vapour is the correct word for it. The Asobo effect would be great. Pleased to see it soon on this beauty.
I’ve just updated to SU9 on Xbox (didn’t have a choice!). I notice that using my normal F16c I have no control issues however when I switch to the Thunderbirds version I have no Aileron control. Shows in control screen just doesn’t react on the aircraft. Elevators work however.
Can somebody please check and see if it’s a general issue or not.
