I’m not on their Discord. Would you, Kind Sir, be able to tell me if they are planning native 2024 updates anytime soon for the Falcon and Tomcat? If it’s not too much trouble, that is.
Last I heard they were finishing off a series of improvements to all their products to make them work better in '24, before then moving on to upgrading/reworking them into native’ 24 versions.
F-16 has been updated. On my 2024 library it says last update was February 26. Release notes not being posted here?
There’s a flat black line coming out of the engine nozzle at idle on the runway. Update may have broken something.
According to product information on JustFlight, the last update was on 2026/01/12. Version 1.1.3
The update was for fs20 not fs24.
Change log.
- F-16D and I landing lights corrected
- Multiplayer burner effect corrected```
Has anybody tested the newly released native 2024 version? It’s very underwhelming and even more buggy. I’m not sure where the improvements are, does not appear to be quality tested at all.
Gave it a quick flight, could not get weapons payloads to render using the default cargo weights management.
Yep, not showing for me either but I think the command for that changed. Google it. Biggest disappointment for me personally no external lights as I do a lot of chase cam flying.
The master arm switch adds the weapons I think?
Two settings available.
Ah, will check that out - thanks.
Yes, it does but shows only one kind of loadout. Don’t we have like 2 or 3 different loadouts to choose from in FS20?
Anyway, what’s the fix for no external lights during the day, any clue?
You guys, the air brakes don’t work on the native conversion to slow down the plane and the non-functional external lights in the day are kinda breaking the experience for me. Rest I can wait to get fixed but hoping these two key issues will get immediate attention.
Hope to see it on PS5 soon enough, their A-10 runs well in VR, so hopes up for the F-16.
Well the 2024 native one seems riddled with issues so I’m not sure you want it in this state.
Sure, of course want it in a good state.
I’m not using it at all, it’s got way too many issues, so reverted back to the 2020 one. At least it has half working external lights during the day and more importantly, the air brakes work to slow the plane down.
Wow. What a shocking lazy way to code this. Others developers already have clickable weapons stores or EFB to modify
Seems like the EFB weights management isn’t the intended way but rather the master arm switch, which did work for me on future attempts. Agreed that a custom EFB or EFB app would be a much better solution, but this was (at least in my opinion) never intended to be a “high fidelity” addon. I don’t mean this as an insult to either developer, but these products have always very much felt like the Carenado of military aircraft in MSFS - look good, fly good, shallow systems, not excessively-priced. And the shallow systems are even more forgivable here imo because most military aircraft systems, if modeled, would have no application in MSFS anyways.
And functioning external lights during the day. Neither do they have any issues with flight dynamics such as air brakes not working which is a huge part of piloting a fighter jet.
Quite disappointed so far.
