F-18 Screens Don't Turn On

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue: When you start up the F-18 from “cold and dark” state, the screens don’t turn on when switching the battery on. They remain dark even after engine start, etc. Same with auto start. Starting on a runway doesn’t have this issue, the screens work in that case. But they don’t turn on from cold and dark.

  2. If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: F/A-18 Super Hornet (Asobo Studio)

  3. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? N/A

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently) Every time.

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Load a Free Flight in the F/A-18 on a ramp, with “cold and dark” condition.
  2. Turn on the generators and the battery.
  3. Look at the screens how they do NOT turn on.

a workaround for anyone who has AAO, Mobiflight or SPAD etc:

• I will add that in shutting down the airplane, the screen stay on. I am experiencing the same issue and cant get screens on. Once it is started I hit CTRL+E to have the system start up the F18. Screens come on. Then to test, I shut down the airplane including the engines, APU, and battery. The screens stay on. Not sure what is going on.

Lol… so I had the same issue while experimenting with the a/c for the first time. It appears that the reason all screens were black is because of some pre-existing binding with Honeycomb Alpha. Aviation bus 1 switch was turned off and this affected MSFS. Once I flipped the switch, all screens came to life.
