I stumble upon this while searching for an F/A18E mods.
I hope with the release of the default F/A-18E by Asobo. The developer VRS can ramp up the speed and release the mods for MSFS soonest possible

Sorry to burst your bubble, but we’re most likely years from this coming out for MSFS (if it ever does), since VRS is incredibly slow to update their products for existing sims.
As an example, their FA-18E and TacPack are still not compatible with any version Prepar3d 5, which was released in April of 2020, and getting those products compatible with updates to P3d v4 usually took months to happen, so even if it did come out for MSFS, the pace the sim gets updated at is such that VRS products would likely be perpetually unusable.

The statement regarding updates only available for 2 years is factually inaccurate. The latest updates are always available on the VRS forum.

i don’t think vrs will do something for msfs because of conceptuality conflict, msfs never stop to avoid weapon system, vrs will not create half working aircraft, guys like a2a, pmdg, vrs, milviz are perfectionists, and will not create compromised piece of an unit(some of them more perfectionist than other 
)
Since Asobo have released the default F/A-18E model. Maybe VRS and other 3rd party developer out there will give this a thought as the flight physics is already there and this developer can make them better and compete with one another who can make em as real as one can get.
3rd developer like Just Flight, DC Designs or Milviz is the choice in my mind to make this beautiful machine.
As for weapons we do not need them to work like in DCS. Merely just a cosmetic would be nice, however a working external fuel is a must.
The ability to fly this beautiful machines around the globe or the Star Wars canyon instead just a small map (like DCS) kinda make one dreams come true.

if people will make mod, and after all everything except weapon will working as should, it’s enough for me, i don’t need weapon in msfs, but i want all system be ready to use

i hope that they add an f/a-18f, it would be perfect for msfs2020 or 2024
