I flew it in to Manaus, Brazil last night and had the windshield rain visible.
I have not been or flown in any Piper aircraft in reality so have no insight on its handling.

Not sure why itās not visible for me then. I can see the rain in other aircraft.
I have taken the controls of a Piper Arrow Turbo and a Dakota many years ago flying from Le Touquet in France to Elstree near London. It was in the mid 1990ās so maybe my memory of the real aircraft is a bit faded but the Carrenado Dakota feels way too light and on rails to me. The Justflight Arrows are closer to reality imho.
New problem with this aircraft, my old Logitech throttle propeller acid is recognized and along with my mixture but my throttle is not recognized somehow but reads my USBās fine
Must be a problem on your side. I flew it today in Belgium and full of rain everywhere⦠also in low light the windshield is a little bit too dirty. Would be nice to have an efb to set the wear conditionsā¦
Maybe, just seems a bit odd that I donāt see rain, only on the sun shield. Works fine in my SWS Kodiak 100 and the JF Piper Arrows.
Anyone else notice at night the cabin lights are either on or off, no dimming?
Maybe it was mentioned already, if so, ignore my babble.
I know, mine doesnt dim
Thats why I asked.
Youāre right, I even smacked mine and it didnāt help.
The Arthur Fonzarelli approach to fixing things?
Ayyyyyyyyyyy
Ritchie in the left seat, Fonz in the right?! Iām just getting caught-up with the Dakota, have been preoccupied with the Aerostar, Centurion, and things WinWing since this one launched.
Very nice for free/make-good, no complaints from me, a keeper for easy low-wing fun!
Iāve enjoyed this so far. It fits nicely between the Warrior and the Arrow.
Make sure you move the mixture knob with your mouse first. If you try to move it with throttle type hardware, it may not start.
The HSI drifts way off.
I can also confirm the engine wonāt start using hardware mixture lever. If you use the mouse to begin with then it works and you can then use the hardware lever without issues for the remainder of the flight.
AvAngel (YouTuber) also reported the same during her first look video.
For reference Iām on Xbox series X with Turtlebeach velocity one flight yoke and rudder pedals connected (using the turtle beach lever for mixture) I also have wireless mouse and wired keyboard connected as well as the Thrustmaster airbus captains pack (side stick and throttles with flaps and spoiler lever) also connected.
Bravo throttle mixture works as expected
I believe its only a directional gyro in the dakota, so it will drift constantly, there is a binding listed above that resets it, just press periodically
OR, you can adjust the gyro by checking the magnetic compass in level flight as you do in real life
