She is a beauty! Can’t believe we got it as a gift. Been waiting on this on – my dad and stepmom flew on one in Michigan/Ohio in the early 70’s.

Always happy to add a classic to my library.

There does seem to be a problem with the ap systems, only reacts to ap/gyro on. heading, alt etc it does not respond to.

And the modern instruments can’t find the satellites, so no nav either.

On first spawn in to the new aircraft i selected external view and was rotating round the aircraft. It kept freezing up for a second as if i was at some huge airport (I wasn’t). Then it froze and hasn’t unfrozen. The Xbox is fine i can switch out, take screenshot etc. but the game is frozen and will not respond at all to any control. I don’t think this has ever happened before.

My dad’s first plane ride was in this Ford Trimotor in the 1960’s (picture is from the 70’s) and last I knew it was still flying around the Grand Canyon, but it looks like it’s now registerd to a museum in Oregon.

As soon as I heard the annoucement I knew right away I’d have to get it for sentimental reasons even if I don’t fly it much. Then to be able to get it for free. What a great gift!

I just wanna ask as I’m not sure about it, when they say free for the next week is it :

• If I get it this week I can keep it for free forever
• I can fly it for free only during this week and then have to buy it
