Hi guys,
I hope you are all doing well. I am reporting this issue I am having as I have tried many things so far and I am now running out of options. I have been trying to use the FBW A320 for a flight from KMIA Miami Intl to TNCA Queen Beatrix airport for days but cannot get the aircraft off the ground as my MCDU is not implementing my simbrief flightplan at all. The EFB does recognise my flightplan correctly but it does not enter it into the MCDU. Entering my flightplan into the MCDU manually is not an option, it simply won’t let me enter anything in it. The KMIA departure page shows me the runways but no SID whatsoever and the arrival page won’t simply show anything…At that point, I have gone into the MCDU page and AOC menu to initialise the flight so everything is entered. The INIT page is completed correctly. The only page on the MCDU not working is the flightplan page. Before anyone asks I run the latest version of the development version of the FBW A320 and the simulator is up to date. I have tried to run this without anything literally in the community folder. This does not change anything which makes me believe it is a problem coming either from the aircraft itself or the simulator. Has anyone come across this issue before and if so did you manage to fix it and how? My only option left is to delete MSFS all together and reinstalling it which I wanna avoid at all cost given how long this will take.
Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
Martial
Bear in mind, the FBW A320 will not load the arrival from simbrief, it will need to be entered manually.
As well, the flight plan cannot be loaded in the sim from the world menu. That can cause an issue like yours as well.
Here are a few things to check in the MCDU to ensure you have it set up correctly.
In the MCDU menu, under ATSU, select AOC menu.
In the AOC screen, select Init/Pres.
In there select Init Data Req. That should fill in that page.
If you want to board your payload, select AOC menu, and when back on that screen, select W/b and then Request send, and then Boarding start.
Now select the INI screen, and in there select Init Request.
That should get you your plan.
Good Luck!

Hello, I had the same problem as you describe. However, I had it after an update of the Navigraph NAV data. If this is the case, please uninstall the entire Navigraph programme and delete all Navigraph folders from the Community folder. Then perform a new clean installation of the Navigraph programme. After that, everything worked as usual for me. The FBW works smoothly and without any problems. I hope I was able to help you with this. Best regards

Loading of the Simbrief Flightplan has been moved to the Init A page on the MCDU when using the Development version.
I normally don’t load a Destination airport in MSFS Destination. Only a Departure airport. If you specify the destination in the MSFS page, the Init Request option is not available in the Init A page on the MCDU.
Best advice is to read this page on FBW’s excellent documentation:
Simbrief Integration
