I’ve got a problem where the FBW A320 is no longer working in the landing challenges. It used to work for me but now it’s just coming up with the Asobo A320.
Last time I did one was about 3 weeks ago and it was working ok.
Does anyone know how I can get the FBW A320 working again?
welcome to like 6+ months ago. FBW will not (nor has it ever) worked with the challenges. That is a reason (or perhaps even the main reason) why the FBW A320 is now separate from the default a320.
edit I find it very odd that you had the FBW working with challenges - do a quick forum search and you will find lots of posts about this.
It was definitely working for me. It didn’t work 6+ months ago but up until fairly recently it hasn’t.
Surely I can’t be the only one it used to work in the landing challenges?
Nah, I’m with OP on this one. I got the FBW A320 working for Landing challenges last time. Back when the A32NX was still modding the default A320. Of course, not all the features are enabled for that landing challenges. Like, Autopilot and ILS landing doesn’t work. But I can tell it’s still the A32NX and I can still do the manual control for landing. So I thought it was weird that people are saying that they can’t do landing challenges because they have the A32NX installed. I’m not sure if their definition of “can’t do landing challenges” meaning they can’t really access the challenge at all or that they feel like the aircraft has a lot of functions disabled because of that. Then again, those same functions have always been disabled even without the A32NX mod, so I get confused even more.
@TearlessFiend27 To add to that, yes, it’s no longer working for the landing challenges because the A32NX is a separate and standalone aircraft now. So landing challenges will always use the default A320 from now on.
Thanks for confirming that I was beginning to think I had done something to make it stop working. As I’ve added a few extra files to the community folder recently. It’s a real shame it doesn’t work as the Asobo A320 is no where near as good.
well, it’s just landing challenge isn’t it? I think even the Asobo A320 is just okay enough for that.
When it was working in challenges- were you using the add on FBW A320. That altered the ASOBO one? Cause now FBW is it’s own independent one like people were mentioning a above.
