FBW A320 stuttering in VR

Hi guys,

since yesterday, the FBW A320 stutters hard in VR, especially when looking down to the pedestral.

On saturday, I was on the Stable 0.8.2 which was running absolutely fine.
On sunday, I installed the experimental release and added FSLTL. There the stuttering began.

After trying around, I reset the community folder to the state of saturday deleting FSLTL and going back to FBW A320 stable 0.8.2. But the stuttering in VR remains now :frowning:
I also cleared the community folder, started the sim, closed the sim and added only the FBW A320, started again but the issue remains. I checked my settings in the sim and nothing changed there. But even with the low preset it does not feel smooth.

I don’t get, what’s going on here. From super smooth to unplayable. Also when looking forward, where the fps are much better, it is not smooth anymore, because the 1% Lows are at around 15fps.

The default A320 is super smooth (like the FBW was on saturday).
Does the FBW installer only put the files for the A320 and FSLTL only in the community folder? Or are there other places where I need to delete something?
I wish I did not install the experimental and FSLTL yesterday :sob:

Here’s a short video. Sorry for the annoying noises. With my shortcut to start capture, I shut off the engines  And it shakes heavy, because I had the headset just in my hands. The in-game frame counter does somehow not represent the stutters, when just looking forward.

I did also a quick comparison, if FSLTL creates the stuttering. Only with FSLTL there is traffic, in the other examples, I turned off traffic. Scene was a takeoff at KJFK, noon, few clouds wheather preset. Dev Mode off. Unfortunately I don’t have a frame capture from saturday and before where everything was fine.

Have the same issue with this plane in the HP Reverb G2 with a 4090 & 5800X3D.

The stuttering is currently making this plane unusable for me.

Ah, forgot my Specs. I‘m running the Reverb G2, RX6900XT, i9-10900K.
My standard settings are some balanced settings and DX12.
I use FSR2 Performance from the sim, OpenXR render scale 100%, OpenXR toolkit is disabled.

When looking down to the pedestral, the framecounter from the Sim shows massive GPU Limit. And it shows only ca. 13GB VRAM available but the GPU has 16GB.
Does the Framrate with the FBW drop so much because the Sim does not use the whole VRAM? I didn‘t inspect VRAM usage with other aircraft.

I did another Test, I activated OpenXR Toolkit and added additional FSR with 85% (with FSR2 performance in Sim being activated). With that, the pedestral gets 30ish fps, looking outside like 60+ fps. Frametimes seem ok (not measured) but that is a blurry mess, you can hardly read the instruments anymore. But a smooth blurry mess

I didn‘t try DX11. DX12 generally works absolutely fine on my system. I don‘t want to switch every time I change the aircraft.

I‘ll wait for an update of the FBW A320. Until then, I‘ll continue flying GA Aircraft VFR and if I want an Airliner, I‘ll go with the A310 or A330neo for the moment. But the headwind A330 now also stutters since Sunday, but not so bad like the FBW A320.

What I still don‘t get: What the hell changed when I changed to the experimental release? Something else than just the addon in the Community folder must have changed because Stable was really running well and also the A330 was working better before.
I don‘t want to reinstall the whole Sim.

Same issues. The FBW is currently the worst performing aircraft for me.
