Anyone else getting problems when trying to use the FBW i can launch the sim into any other aircraft perfectly fine even the aerosoft CRJ but when i select the fbw and click fly it loads halfway then the sim automatically closes itself down to windows desktop. I am using latest dev branch if that helps

I solved this by uninstalling FBW completely and reinstalling it. Apparently patching the version I had after SU4 crashed the game.
I just had this happen once so far, upon relaunch and reload the aircraft seems to load. Ill keep an eye on it and maybe full reinstall as @Hugothester just said.

Thanks I did do a fresh install after my sim updated as I just deleted my community folder so it was all fresh for such a large update was still doing it. Will try that again

fresh install and it is still doing it sadly as soon as it gets to the last section of the blue loading bar when pressing fly it is CTD

I have moved this to Third Party Addon Discussion > Aircraft, where any discussion of aircraft mods takes place.
Some helped to remove also the content of the secondary A32NX folder in
STEAM version:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo\
MS STORE version:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo\
before making a fresh install of the latest A32NX development version. The stable version is not compatible with SU5 right now.
Be aware, that after cleaning these folders and making a fresh install, the sim may CTD again after launching the A32NX for the first time. After that, it should work.
This kind of worked for me.
Prior to doing this I couldn’t generally not even get into the cockpit before CTD.
After I could get into cockpit but then CTD after a couple minutes - which might be down to the general CTD’s I am getting across the sim as a whole after SU5 as opposed to A320nx.
I’ll keep trying … yes I have disabled AI Traffic but not much improvement.
