I’m sorry to close this topic. When this Wishlist topic was created, there was no voting in this category. When voting was introduced, it became necessary for there to be one topic per request, and one request per topic. This has many, and many of these are duplicated throughout Wishlist:

If I’m not searching an airport, I’m basically clicking random spots on a blank map. The “Satellite” map is worthless up close, so I cannot pinpoint the right location without checking Google maps to see if my Lat/Long are close. Please add full-on bing maps!

World Map search using Bing Maps search engine

Since the world map is based on the Windows map app and Bing maps, why can’t the search engine be just the same (with airport codes added). It is annoying to have to go to another maps app or website to get the long/lat coordinates to allow the World map to locate the desired position.

I would love the option to choose my departure heading and relative elevation from the ground from custom locations. Starting at the base of a cliff, parked (like the demo video) would be awesome.

In a “group” sightseeing flight, I think the ability to add a waypoint from the world map screen and while flying in-game would be very beneficial. WORLD MAP: the ability to add a Lat/Long waypoint which would then be viewable in flight to view your neighborhood or view a landmark location which is not a “flight sim landmark” would be very beneficial. I want to be able to fly to Magic Kingdom, then Epcot, then Sea World, and then to the Venezuelan restaurant down the street (maybe I can go to Mom’s house in between). How can we make that happen?

The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Sea World are all available in photogrammetry right now. (Although if you strive for realism, I will mention that in real life, there is a semi-permanent TFR (temporary flight restriction) over the Disney parks.) I can’t speak for the Venezuelan restaurant or your mom’s house, but they are expanding photogrammetry all the time.

Having lived in Costa Rica, the tropics fall flat. The most beautiful game could showcase the most beautiful place on Earth, but didn’t go there.

Correction to Default Seat Height - Pilot Camera / Eyepoint / Viewpoint

It’s a simple fact, the default camera for the “Pilot” view is set far too low in every aircraft, to the point that it obstructs the ability to fly well. I realise this is to give a clear view (almost an IFR view) of the instruments for people that can’t easily move the view around, and that ‘Space’ on the keyboard can be used to temporarily raise the seat height. Also, I know that you can permanently raise the seat height across all aircraft, in the menu under General > Camera > Cockpit, but …

Love the landing challenge - gorgeous, fun, adds an arcade/community element to the game. But 2 weeks of the same dogleg right → land?

As you have hopefully seen by now, they are constantly changing landing challenges. If you want to see some of the old ones back, use this:

Bring back old events (discovery flights, landing challenges, iconic flights, bush trips, etc.)

With Update 5 the Japan tour is no longer accessible in the menu. Please Asobo, bring the japan tour back. You can put it in the menu “activities” with a new category “world tours” or something similar. It is a pity to throw away good content. Thank you!

Add many missions that showcase the beauty of the game!

Missions like FSX

Do the developers have any plans to introduce missions like we used to have in FSX, I flew these missions over and over again in FSX and they were Great! It would be nice to see how they would look in this new version, especially the UFO chase mission and the Mountain Rescue.
