Fenix A320 speed tape not increasing / aircraft veering off runway

Fenix a320 speed tape not increasing, as well as aircraft veered off runway at Flytampa CYYZ. Have hundreds of hours in this aircraft, no new changes to my community folder. Was working perfectly the other day. Any known bugs?

While probably just a weird coincidence, funny enough I had that same issue with the A310 out of Fly Tampa’s YYZ this morning and had to retry my flight three times. I disabled icing effect (and rebooted my pc) in the MSFS menu before my third attempt and my speed tape started working correctly again.

I ended up deleting flytampa cyyz and reinstalled it and found it started working normally. Half way down the runway 23, i noticed the aircraft would veer right. I then tried with the pmdg 737 and found it did it as well. So then i decided to spawn into another airport and sure enough i had no issues. Thats why i decided to do a reinstall of that airport

I don’t know whats going on lately, but the speed tape does NOT work in my FENIX A320… Hasn’t for a while to be honest. I completely reinstalled the sim after a huge system upgrade, and reinstalled the aircraft. and still no speed tape. not even the standby instruments are working. anti ice on or off, probe heat on or off doesn’t matter. I’ve WASTED dozens on hours screwing around trying to get this working to no avail… so sad. :frowning:

@Zeanuck not sure if your issue is this one so i might be wrong but i think it’s just a known issue if you have icing effects enabled in the simulator (doesn’t matter if you set anti-ice on in the plane), it’s the very first question from their FAQ → https://kb.fenixsim.com/icing-issues

to be frank I am beyond ■■■■■■ off right now, since my upgrade my flight panels wpmt work, and I tryed everything the sun short of a complete reinstall of windows (for a second time), and now this… im just beyond mad!!!

Fenix did update me regarding this issue. They said to disable icing effect as it causes many proboems within the fenix

That is correct. It happens at low temps and Fenix published this is issue along with the fix that you mentioned in their kb page. They point it to a buggy weather system of MSFS.

Out of curiosity, I don’t suppose it happen on the PMDG?

I have never had any issues with the pmdg regarding icing. For the most part, my pmdg experience has been flawless. As well as the fenix, minus the one icing issue which was resolved and answered by the fenix devs right away
