Few things with the TBM

There are some things where I would need some help with the TBM.

  1. How do you open the passenger door?
  2. Inertial Separator, what is the right position for it during the cruise?

Thanks in advance!

Push the circular button on the door, then bring the door handle on the left.

Inertial separator OFF on cruise, ON below FL100

Thanks.

So, I can’t open the door for the passengers from the pilot seat? But how do you walk to the passenger door?

In general, a ground crew from the fixed base operator will open the rear door if you have passengers onboard, or the pilot can exit through the front door, and go open the rear door from outside. Part of your required preflight safety briefing is to ensure at least one passenger knows how to open the rear door in an emergency (and how to leave it alone when flying or on the tarmac unless directed to open it!!).

Yeah. In fsx, it was a keyboard key combination that can open doors.

You have to move your camera position back into the passenger area to access the door controls there. If you try to move back from the default position and can’t, try moving sideways to the center of the plane and then move back between the seats. On both doors, the small round button unlocks the door - there are visual indicators that turn from green to red. After that, use your mouse to pull up the handle. To close, move your viewpoint out far enough to pull the handle back to the downward position and the door will close - but the handle won’t be full down and the door won’t lock. Push the handle down the rest of the way to lock the door. If you unlock the door and just want to lock it back, raise the handle just slightly and then put it back down.
