Hello community, where can my community folder be on my PC.I searched all over the files on my PC but it cannot be found.thank you for your help
Steam download or direct from MSstore?
Download on Steam
/user/appdata/Roaming/Microsoft Flight Simulator/Packages/communityfolder
once you get into the MSFS folder have a look around but almost sure its in âpackagesâ
/user/appdata/Roaming/Microsoft Flight Simulator/Packages/communityfolder .The package file does not appear
MS Store
C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\ Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
Steam
C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
custom install
If you happened to use a custom location for your Flight Simulator installation, then proceed there. Example: F:\Flight Simulator\Community\
Still can't find it?

Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe Does not appear
Go to the root of your C: drive and search for asobo-aircraft-c152 there. It might take some time, but you should get either two or four results, depending on which package you purchased. Those will be in your Official folder. One or two levels up from there, youâll see two folders - Community and Official. That Community folder is the one you want. Right click that and pin it to the Quick Access section in File Explorer (the folder window) so that you can get back to it when you need to.
When Iâve lost it, I do thisâŠ
- Go C:\users
- Pick your \name, go there
When youâre there, go to \AppData, this is a grey path. Click for permission when needed (fresh machine)
Under AppData you find: \Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
(for the STORE version !)
it will either be microsoftflightsimulator or dashboard. it has to be in that filepath.
Click on the arrows to see the different paths
Just copy and paste the relevant Windows path, into Windows Explorer address bar:
Steam version:
%AppData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community
Store version (if I copied the folder names correctly):
%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
When youâre there, select and rightclick the Community folder, and âSend to Desktopâ (create a shortcut on your desktop.)
