Hello,
When launching MSFS I got the file system error -1069586941. I tried a lot of solutions I found on the web and I did not succeed to solve the problem. Thank you very much for an idea about the meaning of the number of this error ?
Best regards
Run the chkdsk command.

Thee are TWO “go to” MS Windows file checking utility programs, that should be checked to make sure that Windows 10 is error free (or at least cannot detect invalid or missing files).
Both should be run under Administer Cmd prompt.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow

If you are having issues with MSFS, the #1 First thing to check is to run both these utility programs, and make sure that BOTH “Pass”
-
A PASS will not necessary FIX all your issues, but a FAIL will almost guarantee that you will have issues, until you fix the FAIL and get a PASS
-
Just because you MSFS seems to be working OK, you should still check that both these test utility programs PASS.
I know the forum is full of “advice” and “Tip” from “who knows who”, but this one (yes, from a “who knows who”) should be #1 on your list if you have any Windows 10 issues.
The nice thing about these utilities are that they are easy to run, and in many cases, will repair your windows installation, without a lot of unnecessary work, or even a complete new windows install.
Hello,
Thank you for answering. In fact I applied the suggested procedure in that order: chkdsk, sfc /scannow, Dism … CheckHealth, ScanHealth, RestoreHealth. Some corrupted files were detected and corrected. After this when I tried to launch MSFS there was a new message ‘MSFS is not available in the store’ what is false. I disconnected from my MSStore account and connected again what was the solution. The problem was only a synchronization problem.
Best regards
Glad you detected and got the corrupted files fixed.
May or may not affect MSFS, but fixed is always better than broken.
It does not hurt to run those two checks, say once a week, or at least till you can go a few weeks without new errros surfacing.
