Finalizing the rights to the Asobo AN2

Cobsidering what is happening in Ukraine why not finalize the rights to publish AN2 with Antonov so we can contribute to the economy, even if perhaps with little things

According to recent Developer Q&As, the Antonov AN-2 is complete, but they have not finished the licensing. Microsoft will not publish the aircraft without licensing. Antonov is a Ukrainian company, and Jörg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, has stated that they have lost contact with Antonov. During this difficult time in Ukraine, he stated that he will not be contacting them because he knows that with a war going on, they are going to have other priorities.

Jorg - The Antonov we talked about before: The plane is essentially done. We were a day or two days away from finishing the license with Antonov. Antonov is located in Kyiv [, Ukraine,] and we cannot reach our colleagues that we have worked with. So we are sitting here with a finished plane, and we are waiting for Antonov to reemerge after the chaos has subsided.

Even if I never flew it, I’d still buy it to support Antonov. It’s too bad the rights are on hold - sort of a catch-22.

And I bet I could challenge that trademark in court!
