Finally, for the first time, the TBM930 can acquire a localliser nicely without overshooting and weaving

They’ve finally tweaked this correctly so it starts it final tun onto the localiser before it gets to the centreline and lines up correctly with minimum corrections or weaving. It’s not quite perfect, but so much better than it was before.

However, on a couple of approaches it failed to grab the glideslope, flying straight along the localiser at the last AP commanded altitude, even though GS was clearly shown at the top of the PFD as the pending mode after ALT.

It seems you can make the GS more likely to capture correctly if after the localiser/GS become active, and before you start acquiring them and turning, you cycle the Active NAV button at the bottom of the PFD from LOC1 to LOC2, FMS, and back to LOC1. For me it then acquires both LOC and GS correctly every time so far, and I’ve tested a few different airports.
