Finally my simulation pedal is done!

Hey guys.
After 4 weeks of hard work (not much, every now and then, a beer…) I finished the rudder pedals. The original project was with a potentiometer and gears, but I was not satisfied and decided to use a hall sensor, simple and effective. I like simulating helicopters and that was my focus. Tested and working great! I am very pleased with the results. Good sensitivity and strong structure and best of all, few dollars (in fact, few “R$”… I’m Brazilian).

I could have used other materials, perhaps something more professional, but the idea was to spend little and use materials that were not used in my workshop. I will make a video on YouTube with more information.

Id like to “roll my own” too, and the hall effect sensors have me intrigued as I’ve never worked with them before.

Is not difficult. A few tests and you already see the results. I’m separating the materials to make the video.

Nice torque pedals.
I think I’m going to incorporate hall sensors into my collective. They seem to be a better option than pots.

Yes! Much better with a sensor! I’m very pleased with it. It is easy to install and very smooth. I’m going to change my collective and cyclical too. And thanks for the comment.
