Thank you Aerosoft!! I just used the ASUpdater which fixed the problems I was having with the range setting and with selecting the VOR1, VOR2, or FMS1 modes. Selected the CRJ 1000 and same flight from KPSC to KPDX with real weather, which included icing conditions and lots of rain. Again the rain extended almost to the surface, but switched to ILS mode and turned on APPR as I neared runway 10R. Worked beautifully. Parked, shut down and got credit for the flight time. Well done!
