So…if the last three weeks it was -30 or below and today it is -1 that imaginary lake of yours is suddenly covered by ice too thin to walk on ??
Or should the Wx engine check the past 10-15 days METARs and then decide if you can land a simulated airplane on that simulated frozen lake 
??
