FLC seems to change in 10knot increments on the Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000

  1. Description of the issue:
    FLC only supports 10 knot changes, and unable to change w/ 1 knot granularity

  2. If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
    Cessna 172 Skyhawk

  3. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

  2. Use FLC with AP/FD
  3. Change speed using panel buttons. Changes are in 10knot increments

Works as expected on my end in C172 on PC;
Single mouse clicks change it +/- 1 kt, repetitive clicks eventually increase it to 10kts increments

• worked as expected previously but now exhibits erroneous behavior

Peculiar.

I get it consistently if I:

  1. Spawn in at a runway
  2. Enable FD
  3. Set target altitude of 5000 ft
  4. Set HDG bug to current hdg
  5. Full throttle
  6. Take-off
  7. Enable HDG on G1000, enable AP
  8. Click FLC
  9. Click nose up / nose down to set speed

The HDG bug also changes in 10 deg steps when using the hardware. If using ingame panel it does fortunately support 1 deg steps.

Actually I think this is something that I also encountered in 2020 from time to time. No idea how, but at some point it resolved itself. maybe there’s a keybind to make the increment steps larger that I pressed accidentally?

• Increments by 10 knots with each click, whether by short or long pressure. Does not work in Legacy or Lock modes.

•no issues with the Diamond DA62, it works well 1kt by 1kt

this was an issue for me before patch 3, but now its working for me on steam version pc in 1kt increments controlled with my TB stick. is OP patched?

When I used the Diamond DA62, the 1 kt increase worked very well (the FLC can only be controlled on the MFD, not the PFD).
Then I switched back to the 172 and it worked too, much to my surprise… but only for one mission… because after that, the increase is 10 kt again.
Sorry for the question, but what do you mean by op patched?

did you update to patch three?

yes, I’m up to date and I’ve even done a deinstallation and a reinstallation.
What I don’t understand is that after driving the DA62, it worked for one mission…
