That looks like stuttering rather than flickering. Don’t use High-End settings on a low end machine

It wasn’t as stuttery as in the video. But watch or look at the timestamp I posted, that flickering shouldn’t be normal even for a “low-end” machine. I tested it on Low-End and the game still flickers.

I’m on Intel Arc A770 and I’ve never seen that before. Might be a driver issue.

Mine does this exact thing, but I don’t fly a Boeing. Mine does it almost everywhere, but I mostly notice it in Career mode in the office setting. Also, when i get into the 172 i don’t see any flicker until i start flipping lights on. I start left to right on the panel turning lights on and about the third or fourth switch is when i start seeing it. If i turn the lights back off, it goes away.

I see someone said that it could be a driver issue, but I am pretty certain this has been happening the entire time

I had the same issue. I turned on TAA and it stopped.

I have the same issue with Arc B580. It is most extreme in the clouds and cockpit textures. Never effects glass instruments. I have tried adjusting every graphics setting I can think of and nothing works.

I realized the flickering stops happening when the strobe lights are turned off.
I don’t know if this happens with only Arc GPU users.

In MSFS 2024 (not it 2020), at certain times (especially morning/sunset), there is an unsettling amount of flickering on the aircraft’s texture both in the cockpit and the exterior. I realise this issue only happens if an aircraft has its strobe lights turned on.

In this video, you can see the exterior textures flickering in a glitchy way until I turn off the strobe lights.

Same with the cockpit

In the F/A-18E, only the cockpit seems to be flickering. And I guess the strobe light switch doesn’t work in this aircraft because the cockpit continues to flicker until I turn off the battery.

Im having the same problem in most aircraft.

I am still having this issue and tried no end of things to fix - in the end I’ve had to disable light shafts, but it does kill the immersion without, although the strobe affects (mine especially are prominent on the A330s) and the flickering is even worse!

Wish this got fixed.

This issue has not yet been fixed. I also have it.

RTX 5070 TI, 9800X3D. Was going crazy.

For some reason, my GPU is having a hard time while not running out of VRAM?

I can confirm that this problem has not been fixed. I noticed that many people have the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s related to NVIDIA drivers or a problem with MSFS 2024.

No one is replying this bug, its weird, i think this is related with driver version
