I suspect it might be more complicated than that, but maybe: could all the flight characteristics of one aircraft be changed to another, which I prefer, by simply swapping out certain configuration files?
The answer is YES !!
In most cases “The Flight characteristics of one aircraft can be changed to another”
But doing so will most likely always end up with an aircraft that has worse flight characteristic than both the original aircraft, as well as the new aircraft.
Ie Transplanting the legs of a Horse onto a shark, will not make that fish a fast runner, like the horse was !!
