When I first setup FS I believe I could see both real and player aircraft. Now all I can see are the nameplates. I don’t want to see the aircraft all the time, but it seems I don’t have the choice to see them at all. The ‘Live Traffic’ selection is dimmed out and un-selectable. Is there some setting I need to access?

I assume you’ve gone into options/general/traffic and set up AI and Live traffic to match what you want available to you…

I’ve tried different options with no effect. If Real Time Online is the choice, it doesn’t seem to be available. All I have is AI Offline or OFF.
(I’ve seen my share of HABUs while going to the shower in the dark)

Yea, realtime online in the options tab is what I was referring to. I was hoping it was an easy fix. You might click your icon in upper right corner, and go to a different server (and then back to your preferred server) and see if that let’s realtime connect.
My Habu’s didn’t slither around…but I have seen the one’s you’ve seen, too!

Thanks, I just landed. Maybe part of it is working. When I landed in Africa there were several planes parked and ground crew was giving me the ‘come hither’ act… I’ve never had that before. The fields have been deserted. I’ll try your recommend.

Thanks for your help. It’s working. For now anyway. I can see other flyers at the airports. I tried JFK, EWR and LAX. I can see them on the ground, taking off and landing. I did that switch. My default is Auto (East USA), switched to West and signed out from XBox (probably didn’t have to). It worked, so I switched back to East, reloaded and I’m still in. Wrote it down in my notebook, can’t remember everything.
As an aside, do you know what the F12(reset) does? I’ve avoided touching it. Bad things may happen.

You also need to go to the General Options under Data to turn on all online options, including live traffic and multiplayer.

I’ve never checked out the F12. I’ll look into the next time I’m in the sim and see if I can figure it out.

Those are all OK. Don’t know when I set them, probably during my troubleshooting.

Checked out the F12. It’s tied in to the Filters on the World Map screen.
