Maybe is a general issue with all aircraft autopilot, but i think the Flight director is very useless for manual flying. The FD only work with vetical guidance when autopilot is off.
In real aircraft the flight director is a real help for piloting, specialy on departure or approach.
I hope i’m not the only one who like flying without autopilot…
I’ve noticed the same. It doesn’t follow any vertical or horizontal modes until AP is on. Incorrect.
Correction: the PIT mode seems to work correctly.
Hopefully this is addressed with the planned Garmin update in sim update 3. I’m concerned about how many Garmin issues will actually be included/corrected in the next sim update at end of February.
Yes, because it seems to be related to the autopilot sim core.
Even working title group can’t do anything with their g1000 or g3000 mods.
Completely crazy that this issue exists in this “simulator” months after release.
I really hope they do their homework. VS mode jumps, erratic corrections, IAS mode jumps, FD not functional… I’m sure there is more.
Yes, i realy don’t understand why it should be so difficult to fix this issue.
And i don’t know if they are avare of this.
