While flying I get an intermittent issue of the aircraft completely freezing in space, all controls, act, live traffic, are active but the plane will not move.
I have to restart the game to unfreeze the aircraft, using travel to or resetting the flight does not fix the freeze.
There’s no rhyme or reason to when this occurs it just happens, it has happened during taxis, on final, and mid flight.
Looks like you unintentionally activated active pause. Suggest to check your bindings.
I’ll test, this is a new system and a new bug on my previous z620 rig this never happened, same key bindings, joystick, rudder, throttle.

If you move your mouse to the menu icon, what does the left icon show?
Maybe cycling active pause helps?
Negative, active pause is not causing this.
I edited the original post, to show that the sim must be restarted once this happens.
Cycling active pause, using travel to, or even restarting the flight does not fix this.
Premise: I have no idea if this is the reason.
Do you have working-title mods? (G1000 / G3000 / G3X)
It happened to me with the TBM930 (G3000). I took out the GX3 and everything is back in place (I once read that the 2 mods together could give problems)
No mods besides the scenery, and livires.
Even liveries can cause the weirdest problems. Suggest to empty or rename your community folder for troubleshooting.

Have you checked your keyboard or flight controllers to confirm there aren’t any stuck keys that might randomly initiate active pause? Perhapse a bad switch could cause this. You might consider trying another keyboard, mouse, or controller to see if that helps resolve the issue.
It is not due to active pause.
I am getting this issue as well, this time in an A320. It is not active pause.
Edit: It’s not just the flight that get’s screwed, I can’t interact with the Esc menu. The only way to close that is to press Ctrl+P. - Yet AI traffic can continue to move around, ATC works, I can even push back.
