Flight model/physics improvements?

WIll we see major improvements to the flight model/ground physics? I feel like MSFS has been lacking quite a bit in those areas. In XP/DCS the tires feel like actual tires, and the flaring behaviour in MSFS is a bit awkward - in the PMDG 737 for example you just close the throttle at 50 feet where in other sims you nurse the throttle back to idle until touchdown for a smooth landing. I’m just afraid that possible improvements would be sacrificed in the name of compatibility

From my understanding, there is not universal thing in MSFS called a “flight model”. The individual aircraft and how they respond to the air/atmosphere simulation is how the flight model is configured (i.e. it’s all based upon parameters in the aircraft config files).

So, things like flaring behaviours etc., are down to the developer and how they program the aircraft into the sim platform.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong here though, but that was my interpretation at least.
