Mine is not saving the change I ask for, if I let it blank for the sim to put random. So I’m stuck with the long haul flight Air Canada xyz it did once with all my planes and helicopters.

Maybe there is a place in some xml file we can delete the info and let it blank?

Is this still happening for people in 1.4.13.0?

I’m traveling and don’t have access to MSFS 2024 right now. This was happening to me before, but I think that the last time I flew, in .13.0, it didn’t happen, but I wasn’t paying attention to it.

Still a bug in 1.4.20.0.
(Extra text to avoid being called a spammer by Discourse.)

Issue still happens but what I noticed is that the condition is you have to restart the sim in order for “2024” to be back in the Flight number field.
If you delete it and don’t leave the sim, that field remains empty.
Could other users confirm ?

After navigating the sim without leaving:

After restart:

Confirmed, I have the same issue.

As I mostly fly GA, I do not need a flight number.
Therefore, I think it should be possible to leave this field permanentely empty.
