Flight plan for A320NX

I thank you much for these advices; they are for me extremely useful. I ever seen and heard several videos about IFR and tutos for flight plans, they say all practically the same thing instead one about the establishment of a flight plan apart from Simbrief and MSFS, but it is a little bit mess and at certain times, incomprehensible.

Can you tell me why I can nothing to wright below of the MCDU, there is written: not allowed . Even, when before I click ā€œCLRā€, which wipe off that inscription, I cannot wright ?

On the site of LFRS ,(LFRS chart) the track 021 is oriented 222° but I don’t find the ILS can you tell me if there is any ILS for that track ?

Just play with the MCDU, there are many people out there that eventually figured everything out for themselves. Or maybe you have a friend that you can talk to.
LFRS RW21 does not have an ILS, only VOR and RNP approach. VOR 115.5 and at 500 ft visual. actually pretty easy.

I thank you; but I ever have passed almost three hours to try to understand how to wright on the MCDU. I have nothing found. I’m totally lost. I cannot enter the necessary values for having a good flight plan and I don’t arrive to conclude and I don’t know anyone who can give me an aid.

Totally impossible to enter in the page INIT, the value of block fuel; it is written: not allowed; and the number of the flaps: 1/, it is written: format error. I don’t understand.

when I want to wright the value of ILS in page RAD/NAV, I find: enter out of range, etc…Totally impossible to write anything in the MCDU.

And yet there are many, many examples you could follow. But you choose not to. I’m very disappointed.

This thread is turning into a personal tutoring, I don’t think the forum is intended to teach the use of the A320 MCDU.

I’m pretty sure there is something you are not following properly as I have never heard of anyone having issues feeding the FMS. Frequencies in particular. Also, if you are trying to put in the VOR freq into the ILS prompt you will not succeed.

English bothers me because since a long time, I don’t use it anymore since a long time. I simply ask for what reason it is impossible for me to write on the MCDU, is there somebody whom that thing is arrived ?and if yes, how to do to correct that ? I’m also disappointed, not by the relationships I’ve with the members of the forum, but by the software itself, too much difficult that make it normally unusable.

Not sure if I am allowed to share youtube channels here (mods, please remove if not), but here is something that will help you. Turn on the subtitles if you encounter issues understanding the language.

He even uploaded a turotial on STARs a couple of days ago.

It’s not too difficult. I and many others use it regularly all the time.

I beg your pardon and I’m very embarassed , because I have found why I couldn’t write in the MCDU. You had reason . I have not enough searched . Finally I’ve found. I didn’t use the keypad of the MCDU, but this one of my computer. Once again, excuse me.

Do you know if the username, which appears to persist in the MCDU, also somehow be used for the EFB, instead of having to type the username into the Company tab, which appears to be blanked every time I load the aircraft?

I’m not sure. I also have to type it in manually into the EFB through the company page as you’ve described. Would be a really neet feature to have the two be linked so that only one system needs the credentials and can share it to the other - thus streamlining the process. We’ll see. Could already be a thing. Could become a thing in the future as development chugs along.

If anybody has info on this, feel free to chime in. Cuz I don’t know.

What do you want to say by: EFB ?

Electronic Flight Bag otherwise known as the tablet, mounted on a bracket, to the left of the pilot’s seat.

How to finish a flight plan when there is no STAR in the propose list to enter ?

Then the Airport has no STAR. KSYR e.g. doesn’t. Go direct the Airport Beacon and work your way to the Runway if you don’t have the charts for it.

Thank you much
